These deep ocean expeditions take customers to depths of 10,000 to 15,000 feet and can run from $30,000 to $350,000 depending on the location. The German World War II vessel went down in the North Atlantic during its first offensive mission at sea in 1941. The British Navy claimed to have sunk it but the Germans countered the ship was scuttled to prevent it falling into enemy hands. It is remarkably well preserved and now rests 15,000 feet below the surface.
